Watermelon is a main seasonal fruit in summer season. Watermelon is one of the beneficial fruits that gives both skin and beauty benefits. Mostly, we are enjoying watermelon in form of juices, salads,etc. Only eating watermelon not keeps us hydrated but also helps us to get smooth, flawless and beautiful skin.

Watermelon contains about 92% of water content and rich in vitamins like vit. A, B6, C. Its helps in hydrating our body as well as our skin layer, it also repairs and protects it from various skin ailments.

As a Skin Toner 
Red juice of watermelon is a natural astringent that changes the appearance of your skin as well as toned it.

You can massage your face and neck with fresh watermelon slice directly. Or you can add 1tsp honey in it and mix well. Apply this on you face for 15 min. 

As a Anti-aging mask
Watermelon is a rich source of anti oxidants which reduce free radicals from the body and prevents all signs of skin aging. 

You can take 1 slice of watermelon and 2 tsp avocado paste, mix it well. Apply this paste on your face and neck.Leave it for about half an hour and then wash it off with Luke warm water.
Watermelon contains fiber and water while avocado is rich in healthy fats. 
Mixture of both together helps to reduce wrinkles, fine lines and improve the elasticity of your skin. Watermelon juice on the face rejuvenates and revitalizes the dull skin.

As a Moisturizer
Dehydration can lead to dry and dull skin. If you have dry skin then add the watermelon in your diet. Watermelon contains 92% water in it that keeps our body and skin hydrated. 

You can apply watermelon with yogurt, mash watermelon and add 2 tbsp yogurt to make fine paste. Apply this pack on your face and leave it for 15 min. Wash it off with water. It keeps your skin moisturized, hydrated and glowing.

As a Cleanser and oil remover 
Watermelon is a rich source of multivitamins. These vitamin helps in reducing the size of our skin pores and minimizes the excessive oil secretion from the sebaceous glands.

Take 1/2 cup watermelon juice and some crushed mint leaves, mix together and fill this mixture in a ice tray and freezes them. Rub this ice cubes on your skin. It helps in reducing the open pores in your skin and cleans the impurities from the skin pores. It also giving cooling and soothing effect on your skin in this hot weather.

As a Exfoliator and scrub
Take a 2 tbsp watermelon pulp, 1 tsp sugar, 2-3 drops of lemon. Mix it all. Apply this paste on your face and rub it gently in circular motion before bath. You can store it in the refrigerator for a weak.

This cool scrub removes dead skin cells and , make your skin smooth and spot less. You can also be prepared this scrub by mixing the pulp with gram flour.

As a Anti- acne mask (Cures acne)
Watermelon provides relief from acne or pimple itching and irritation due to its cooling property in it. It help in reduces oil secretion and close open pores in your skin. So, this cures acne but you want best result then use it daily. Take a watermelon juice in a cup and simply dab a cotton ball in it. Apply it on your face. Leave for 15 minutes and then wash off with cold water.

As a Sun tan and Sun burn remover
Sunburns and Sun-tanned skin can be treated by using watermelon. Take a equal quantity of watermelon pulp and cucumber pulp. Mix it well in a bowl. Apply it on your face and neck. Yummy banana muffins recipe

Banana is very nutritious fruit, rich in high fibre, vitamins and anti oxidants. Most of us and our kids don't like banana, and not eat directly. 
So, you can use different and easy tricks for them, you can use banana in smoothies, cakes, shakes , muffins and many mores. As in form of muffins, bananas are great for kids or even for us. 
So, starts with ingredients that you need in this recipe.

 Ingredients -

  • 2 cup all-purpose flour 
  • 1 cup mashed bananas(3 ripe banana)
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 125 gm butter (melted & cooled)
  • 1 tbsp baking soda 
  • 1/2 tbsp salt  
  • 2 egg (beaten) 
  • 1 tbsp vanilla essence
For icing - 
  • 2 tbsp pure icing sugar
  • 1 tbsp cream butter

 How to make banana muffins?


 Steps -

  • First, preheat your oven to 200 °C. Take a bowl , combine flour, sugar and cinnamon.
  • Now, add butter, milk, eggs and vanilla essence to flour mixture. Using a large spoon, stir gently to mix well.
  • After mixing it, add mashed banana into it.
  • Using spoon, fill this mixture in greased or paper-lined muffin cups half full.(12 cups)
  • Bake for 18-20/minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. 
  • Cool it for 5-10 minutes, remove from pan to a wire rack to cool completely. 
  • For icing, beat cream cheese and icing sugar with hand blender. Make a smooth and fluffy icing.
  • Spread this over muffins or cupcakes and serve it.

1 muffins : 200 calories, 7 g fat (1 g saturated fat), 18 mg cholesterol, 209 mg sodium, 36 g carbohydrate, 1 g fiber, 2 g protein .

Hair Spa Treatment at Home - How to get celebrity like hair at your home?

If you want to maintain your hair like celebrities, so you are advised to do hair spa treatment. Hair spa treatment has become the most preferable a
nd good option for damaged hair. It provides you deep relaxation and distressed your mind from the various tensions. It also gives hydration and nourishment  to your hair. 

In market, there is different types of hair spa treatments are available. You tired of spending your money and time in parlors or in salons but it relieves you for a little time but again your hair looks same as they are.

How to do Hair Spa at Home?

Step 1: Massaging 



The first step to start a hair spa treatment at home is Massaging. In massage, take any hair nourishing oil like olive oil, coconut oil, almond oil and massage your head for 15- 20 minutes. Massage softly and smoothly with your fingertips. You can also take Luke warm oil for massage. It helps to increase blood circulation, hair growth and remove dryness of your scalp.

Step 2: Hair Steaming 


After oil Massaging, next step is hair steaming. Take a big towel and dip it in a warm water, squeeze the towel  to remove extra water. Now, wrap this towel around your head and cover all your oiled hair. Wrap it at least 15  minutes, it helps oil penetrate into the scalp deeply. Hair steaming gives nourishment to your hair  which makes softer and smoother  hair. 

Step 3: Hair Shampooing 


Third step is washing your oiled hair with shampoo. You can use any shampoo but it should be the mild. For oiled hair washing, always use lukewarm water to wash your hair, It helps you to remove all oil from your hair. Never use hot water for hair washing, it may causes dry scalp, dandruff  and weakens you hair roots.

Step 4: Hair Conditioning  


After proper shampooing, apply conditioner on your wet hair. You can use any hair conditioner that suits you either Store bought or home made. Start with the halfway down the shaft towards the hair tips than roots to the tips. Rub your hands together and spread the conditioner all over your head. You can also use a comb for proper spreading. Wash your hair with water.
Hair conditioning prevents to drying your hair and make your hair soft and shiner.

Step 5: Apply a hair mask


The last and final step provides your hair all the required nourishment. Different types of hair masks are available in market, you can buy it or use your homemade hair mask. The homemade hair masks nourish your the scalp and hair roots. Making a homemade hair mask is very easy but also very cheap. You need a few simple kitchen ingredients.

Some homemade hair masks are-


Egg Hair Mask

For this hair mask, take 1 egg and beat it , add 1 cup milk and 2 tbsp olive oil in it , mix it well. Now, squeeze 1 lemon to the mixture. Apply this hair mask on your scalp to hair tips. Leave it for 15 minutes and than wash your hair with Luke warm water.

Yogurt Hair Mask

Take 1/2 cup of yogurt, 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar,1 teaspoon of honey, mix it well in a bowl. Apply this mixture to your scalp to hair tips. Leave it for 15 minutes. Wash your hair with lukewarm water.

After washing, by removing all particles of hair mask than wash your hair again with shampoo to get rid of any smell of egg or yogurt.

Now, You have successfully done hair spa treatment at  your home. See the desired result like this before and after in your hair.

Do it once in every week or  twice in a month, it depends on you. You will definitely get the desired results when you do it regularly. It will makes your hair smooth, soft, shiner, manageable and enhance your personality.

Self pampering is very essential in building self esteem and self confidence.It requires only take good care of yourself. It is very essential for us in our daily life. In our daily life, we all invest a lot of time in making ourselves identity in society but we completely forget about ourselves. After sometime in our life in daily routine, we neglect ourself and eventually become irritated, frustrated and stressed.

We all want to escape from our daily routine and kick start a new journey of indulgence. From tip of our damaged hair to our unpedicured feet, we are all regrets or guilty of forgetting to take care of ourselves.
